Jawboning Healthcare

I'm not looking forward to a healthcare system that limits my options more than the current one. From other countries with "national healthcare" we hear of people who are deemed by the system to be too old to receive expensive cures, or who die before they get a procedure that would have saved their lives.

I don't care what He says, His healthcare plan would be just another of His initiatives that would make us second rate. Of course, costs would go through the roof - why else would they even be thinking of taxing healthcare benefits. Surgery might be hard to get, but they'll be operating on your pocketbook!

  1. As the former Governor of Colorado, Richard Lamm, (in)famously said in 1984,

“Like leaves which fall off a tree forming the humus in which other plants can grow, we’ve got a duty to die and get out of the way with all of our machines and artificial hearts and everything else like that and let the other society, our kids, build a reasonable life.”

In other words, rot in peace ...
