If you're worried about the government takeover of health care, you owe it to yourself to go to this petition stating that: we need to be able to choose our own doctors and our own plans; that we should have access to the treatment that we need; that we don't want the government making health care decisions for us.
After you sign, you'll get access to an excellent paper from the National Center For Policy Analysis, called "Ten Steps to a Patient-Friendly Health Care System".
Personally, I think we need legislation that puts Congress and the President in the same health plan that they prescribe for us.
